Michelle Yeoh

Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato` Seri Michelle Yeoh Choo-Kheng, PSM (born 6 August 1962;) is a Chinese-Malaysian actress who played Philippa Georgiou, captain of the USS Shenzhou, as well as the character`s mirror universe counterpart in Star Trek: Discovery. Her involvement in the show was revealed by consulting producer Nicholas Meyer in an interview on 22 November 2016. In January of 2019, it was revealed that she would be starring in a Discovery spinoff series. Michelle Yeoh (born 10 May 1970;) is an actress from Miami Beach, Florida, who portrayed Varis Sul in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine first season episode "The Storyteller".
